On 16 July 2020, the ATO posted an article advising that record numbers of returns have been lodged in the first 2 weeks after the end of the 2019-20 financial year, $1b of refunds have issued; the three main 2020 lodgement issues arising to date and a reminder that the ‘working from home shortcut’ has been extended to 30 September 2020.
