CPA Australia has advised that Paul Drum passed away unexpectedly last week (commencing 25.5.20) after suffering a suspected heart attack.
For many of us Paul was an institution and a colleague. It sounds like this was sudden, and he will be missed.
Paul was CPA Australia’s General Manager of External Affairs and has been the voice of CPA Australia, in public debate, for more than 22 years. He was respected by policy makers for his expertise in the tax and business arena. Paul was a passionate advocate and skills as a communicator meant he was regularly featured in the media in print, radio and television and he was much sought after as a presenter at business conferences.
I, with many, send our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
