The Inspector-General of Taxation on Fri 14.11.2014, released 2 reports:

Regarding the Follow-Up Review on ATO “U-turns”, the Inspector-General found that the ATO has fully implemented 3 of the 4 administrative recommendations, while the 4th has been partially implemented. Two additional recommendations were made to ensure that the ATO properly implements a holistic approach to managing “U-turns”. The Inspector-General said the ATO has agreed to implement these additional recommendations.

The Follow-Up Review into the ATO’s Implementation of Agreed Recommendations in 5 Reports Released Between August 2009 and November 2010 looks at the ATO’s implementation of agreed recommendations that were made. The Inspector-General found that all recommendations had been actioned, were being actioned or will be addressed in later IGT reviews.
