*PM rules out abolishing negative gearing – on Q&A (disagreeing with Henry Review) [21]

The Prime Minister has ruled out abolishing negative gearing. Speaking on the ABC’s Q&A Program on Mon 11.6.2012, she said the Government did not agree with the Henry Tax Review and that abolition of negative gearing “would cause distortions to the property market that we didn’t want to see”.
