Bill introduced

The Revenue Amendment and Trade and Investment Queensland Bill 2013 (Qld) was introduced in the Qld Legislative Assembly on 4 June 2013. It proposes amendments to the Duties Act 2001 (Qld) and the Fire and Rescue Act 1990 (Qld) to implement the revenue measures announced in the Qld Budget 2013-14 concerning insurance duty and the Emergency Management, Fire and Rescue Levy (see above).

The Bill also proposes other amendments to the Duties Act, the Payroll Tax Act 1971 (Qld), the First Home Owners Grant Act 2000 (Qld) and the Taxation Administration Act 2001 (Qld) to maintain their currency and proper administration.
