The Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) has released presentation videos for tax agents and BAS agents via the TPB YouTube channel. The Board said in the last 10 months it had hosted a number of information sessions around Australia with some 2,000 tax and BAS agents attending those sessions. So that all agents could have access to the information presented at the sessions, the Board has filmed one tax agent and one BAS agent presentation. The videos cover the Board’s role and responsibilities, agent obligations, the Code of Professional Conduct and TPB policies. The Board notes that watching each video in full will count as 45 minutes of continuing professional education (provided the agent had not already attended a face-to-face presentation).
