The following annual reports have been released and were tabled in the House of Reps on Wed 22.10.2014:

  • Inspector-General of Taxation Annual Report 2013-14. The IGT completed work on: his Transfer pricing review, Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) and ATO capability; Risk assessment tools and taxpayer compliance costs; Compliance approaches to small businesses and individuals; Penalties review; “U-turns” and the follow up review. The IGT’s new work program will examine: debt collection; Services and support for tax practitioners; Taxpayers’ charter and taxpayer protections; Employer obligations. The IGT has also commenced a review into the ATO’s management of tax disputes with high wealth individuals and large businesses, in response to a request from the Parliamentary Committee inquiry into Tax Disputes.
  • Superannuation Complaints Tribunal Annual Report 2013-14.
  • Administrative Appeals Tribunal Annual Report 2013-14.
  • Australian Information Commissioner Annual Report 2013-14.
  • Commonwealth Ombudsman Annual Report 2013-14.
